Meet the Celestial Strings

Meet the Celestial Strings: the piano trio ensemble is a family of musicians that have been performing together for over 18 years.  Floyd, Josh, and Kathleen Czoski discuss their gift and spirit of service for bringing live music to special occasions.

Clients describe the Celestial Strings as magical, exquisite, and beautiful. Read more about their descriptions, and listen to more of our samples. Thank you for stopping by!

Playing Morricone’s “Gabriel’s Oboe”

The Celestial Strings play the theme song from the 1986 film “The Mission.” The theme was written by Italian composer Ennio Morricone, which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Score and won the Golden Globe for Best Original Score. We find this piece a soothing, lyrical meditation that audiences adore.

Baroque for Background

Did you know Georg Philipp Telemann wrote more music than Bach? The baroque style is perfect for festive background music and what we call light classical. In this video, the Celestial Strings play three movements from Telemann’s Partita 1. Enjoy!
